Delivery

Lauries Furniture delivery costs are dependent on where you live. We are based in Bridgwater, Somerset and offer FREE local delivery (postcodes beginning with TA). Further afield will incur a cost, most of the southwest will be covered by a £35 delivery charge, the rest of England will vary from £100. (But please ring us for a quote as it could be less depending on circumstances).

 At the checkout you select the first 2 letters of your postcode and the relevant charge will be added.


Our trustworthy, experienced delivery men ensure the smooth delivery of your furniture. We're happy to offer a great service in which we unpack, assemble and take away any old furniture, making the whole experience stress free. All you have to do is be there to open the door! 


There are a few postcodes not included on our list - please ring us if this affects you and we will endeavour to quote you for delivery costs.


Please remember to measure all staircases, hallways and doorframes in addition to the area where the furniture is to be placed. Failed deliveries will be charged for.


Any information to help us find your address is much appreciated, especially houses with names rather than numbers or your house is difficult to find.


Whilst every effort will be made to dispatch the goods on time, no liability can be accepted by the Company for failure to deliver the goods in the specified time. All delivery times quoted are business estimates only and form no part of any contractual obligation. 


 The Company will accept no liability for shortages, damage, or non delivery of goods, unless the customer notifies the Company in writing within three days of receipt of goods or invoice.


The Company's liability for the safety of the goods ceases upon the Company placing the goods under the control and direction of the carrier.


Storage : Goods paid for in full, or part paid, may be stored at the Company's discretion by prior arrangement at a rate of 1% of the order value per month following the date after which the customer failed to arrange collection or refused to accept delivery. This amount will be payable before any subsequent collection / delivery.
